Fr. Mark Andrew Lewis, S.J. to Deliver Spring Hill College’s 2025 Commencement Address

Mobile, Ala. – Spring Hill College is honored to announce that Fr. Mark Andrew Lewis, S.J., will serve as the keynote speaker for the Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony. The event will take place on May 10, 2025, on the College’s historic Avenue of the Oaks.

Fr. Lewis, a distinguished Jesuit scholar and leader, currently serves as the Rector of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. With a profound dedication to education, faith and service, Fr. Lewis embodies the values of Jesuit higher education. His experience and insights will undoubtedly inspire graduates as they embark on their next journey.

Fr. Lewis, a native of Florida, is a graduate of Spring Hill College and has devoted his career to theological scholarship and Jesuit formation. His return to The Hill for this milestone occasion will be especially meaningful to students, faculty and alumni.
